Footprints Preschool is a well rounded school that fits the need of every parent and child. Starting daycare or preschool can be started for many reasons; socialization, educational, care taker and there may be more reasons why a parent starts their child in daycare/preschool. No matter what the reason is we have different programs that can meet the needs of you and your child.
We have the quarter program
that starts at 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This program includes the major part of our learning section of the day.
We have a part time program That begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. This not only includes the majority of our learning section , also socializing at lunch time and learning to have quite time as a class at nap time.
Our full time program begins at 7:00 a.m. and continues thru out the day till 6:00 p.m. With joining this program you are not only experiencing our educational and socializing skills you are joining a family that you learn and grow with by forming a bond when it is free time.
You can register for minimum of two days a week to five days a week and all programs vary financially.
Here is the following schedule: (all geared to specific age group)
7:00 a.m. to 9:00a.m. is before care where we can provide cereal, fruit and milk for breakfast before our school day starts from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
9:00 a.m. we have circle time which consists of learning and reviewing Letters (upper case & lower case) Numbers1-50 speaking in English and Spanish; due to the fact that kindergarten class has 20 minute programs teaching Spanish.
The students learn their colors in English and Spanish. They are also taught shapes, safety rules, weather and temperature, seasons, manners, History of holidays.
9:30 a.m. the students have a morning snack
9:50 a.m. they do an educational lesson, some examples are writing their full name address and best phone number, tracing and writing letters and shapes and drawing straight lines, patterns, opposites and writing or tracing three to four letter words. Each day a topic is worked on.
10:15 a.m. the children are allowed to have free play to use their imaginations with arts and crafts, dramatic play, music and books or puzzles
10:45 a.m. the students do an arts and crafts project that relates to the theme of the week
11:30 a.m. the children wash up for lunch
12:00 p.m. lunch time
12:45 p.m. nap time
2:15 p.m. we wake up, take bath room breaks and wash our hands, put our mats away
2:40 p.m. we have an afternoon snack which CANNOT consist of kiwi, strawberries, peanut butter or made in a factory with tree nuts
3:00 p.m.to 6:00 p.m. becomes the after school program, where the children can go outside weather permitting, do arts and crafts, science projects, or free play in our centers. Each child gets picked up at different times
Payments are due the 28th of the previous and the second half can be paid on the 15th of the current month if financially it works out better for you.
